The Dixie Watercolor Society is proud to announce the winners of its 2014 Spring Show with the theme “The Heart of Art – Artist Choice”. Twenty Seven artists submitted 41 paintings to the show. Noted artist, Ian Ramsey judged the exhibition.

Dixie watercolor Society Announces Its Spring 2014 Show

The Dixie Watercolor Society announces its spring 2014 transparent

watercolor show with the theme, "Heart of Art." Submissions are the artist’s



This is a chance for transparent watercolor artists to open their

hearts and show their favorite paintings in time for Valentine's Day,

as the show will run from Feb. 10 through Feb. 22 at the North Main

Street Plaza lobby, just north of the ReMax Realty office.


Registration is open from Jan. 8 until Feb. 10 and can be done online

at the Dixie Watercolor Society's website: All artists are strongly encourage to register

on-line before February 10th.


The DWS is limiting the number of entries for this show to 45

paintings. Entries are limited to one per person. There is a fee of $15 per entry.

One entry at 15”x22” or two smaller entries at 11”x15”.


The show will be juried and prizes will be awarded.


A reception and awards presentation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

on Feb. 15. Refreshments will be served.


For those who enjoy transparent watercolor art, please come and

participate in the DWS spring show.
